Sketches!

Recently discovered a scanner in the dorm computer lab, and I plan to abuse the hell out of it. Here's a couple random sketches, many more will follow in the future.

Finished Work #4--Thief

Just a pic for a comic I'm going to try to do over winter break. I'll probably put some more stuff up as I go.

Sketch #3--Random Stuff

Haven't posted in quite sometime so I thought i'd just put up some doodles I did earlier... they aren't much to look at, but they were fun to do, lol. It was all done in Photoshop with my tablet. Some of it is for some comic stuff I wanna do, but some of it is just for fun, you can figure out which is which...

Finished Work #3--Futuristic Assassin

Here's the first thing i've ever done that was completely on the computer. I sketched out the figure in Photoshop and then did line work and coloring in Illustrator. Not really sure what it is, just based it on a doodle in my sketchbook. 

Sketch #2--Death by Anatomy

So I made this senior year of high school. I wasn't doing to great in my anatomy class, I think this is a fairly accurate portrayal of how I felt.

Finished Work #2--Creature from the Black Lagoon

Here's another finished piece. I really like old horror movies, and this character was always one of my favorites. Once again I did this in Photoshop, this one, in my opinion is one of the best coloring jobs i've done, something that i've had a lot of difficulty with in the past.  I based it off of a photo I found online and attempted to give it my own look. 

Finished Work #1--Robot lady

This is one of the many works I've done because I was bored...but I think it turned out okay. I made a preliminary sketch and then did all the line work and coloring on Photoshop. This was around the time I was starting to get the hang of doing my work in Photoshop and I think it's the most successful of the early work.
